Hi! Welcome to Deer Trail Homestead. We are a small, family owned homestead in Central Texas. Our mission is to get back to basics with nature through gardening, permaculture, and raising our own animals for food and benefits. As a nation, we seem to have lost the ability to be self sufficient in modern times. We are merging the old ways with the new ways, by taking our health, diets, and way of life back to nature and away from processed foods, chemicals, pesticides. Our goal is to help teach the community how to garden and be more self reliant, in all walks of life. A range of classes will be offered to the community at an affordable price, such as gardening, chicken keeping, canning, plant propagation, composting, companion planting, worm farming, and more.
